Garvin McCarrell serves as the Executive pastor of New Life Church. Garvin oversees Administration and Finance, Stewardship Ministries, Life Safety Ministries, the Bookstore, Café, Special Needs Ministrry, Local Ministries, and Men's Ministry. Garvin also serves as a New Life Elder. Prior to joining the New Life staff, Pastor Garvin was with Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, TX for 29 years and served on their staff for 23.

As the church grew from 100 people to 8,500, he served in many leadership positions over the years. Those included: Youth Pastor, Missions/Outreach Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Executive Pastor of Pastoral Care, Pastor of Trinity Fellowship Association of Churches, Life Group Pastor, Oversaw Trinity Fellowship Christian School, and served as an Elder for 22 years.

He has a passion to see believers equipped to minister with their spiritual gifts in the church and to their community. Garvin and his wife Kim have been married 32 years and have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. He loves spending time enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors on a Harley and a Jeep.
