Pastor David leads New Life’s 5pm Sunday service, Desperation Student Ministries, and prayer efforts in the World Prayer Center.

David joined the pastoral staff at New Life in 2000 and possesses a passion for prayer and making disciples. In 2001, he started a collegiate prayer and discipleship program called theFurnace. In the summer of 2002, he launched the Desperation Conference to unite and challenge students to live everyday in desperate pursuit of God. In 2004, David developed a full-time leadership-training program, Desperation Leadership Academy, to equip students to encounter God, pray diligently, and lead boldly.

He enjoys connecting with youth pastors from across the nation annually at the Desperation Youth Leader Prayer Summit and serving on the board of Every Home for Christ.

David graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2000 with a degree in Religion and obtained a Masters in Theology from The King’s University in Los Angeles, California.

David is madly in love with his wife, Renata, and spends loads of time with his four children- Dawson, Alivia, Adelyn and Justus.
