Amy moved to Colorado from Texas in 2004 to be a part of Desperation.  She has a passion to see voices arise from within her generation to proclaim truth about the love of God and the intimacy available. After finishing 2 years in the Furnace, Amy was a part of Desperation’s Volunteer Staff for 2 more years. In the 2008, she married her best-friend, Dan Perkins, and became full-time staff with Desperation Student Ministries. Dan and Amy are the directors of the Desperation Prayer Furnace and are building a prayer room that currently goes 18-hours a day, 7 days a week in the WPC. Amy also plays a vital role in the administration and women’s discipleship within the Desperation Leadership Academy. In 2009, Amy completed her bachelors in theology: Christian Ministries from The King’s College and Seminary.  She likes decorating her apartment, vacationing to the beach, playing games, and laughing a lot!!!
